7 Laws for getting a Slim Body

Everyone wants to have a slim and fit body. In general, being thin is synonymous with being healthy. Although this is a generalization that is not always true, the reality is that overweight and obesity are associated with many health risks that with the mere fact of being thin almost always implies that our risk of many diseases is much lower than when we have several extra pounds.

Many people put so much effort into being thin. Some make it, others do not … Why? Today I share with you a summary of the 7 Laws to getting a Slim Body according to our MIC which has been around for 10 years and has given positive results to more than 30,000 patients.

These laws are so simple that anyone can follow them. Want to try them? When you put on a “diet” you are signing the contract for healthy weight loss. “Diets” (those who do it for a certain time, and they usually go hungry with 500 calories for a period) are not the right way to lose weight. Although diets work at the beginning, you suffer rebounds later.

Eating fat is not fattening (except trans fats). Instead, you need fat in your diet to help process certain nutrients and for your cells to work perfectly (yes, even to get rid of stored fat). Always under the total calories of the MIC method.

Eating more slowly and savoring your meals while following the required food portions of “MIC Dr. Soler Method” will increase your levels of two hormones that make you feel full faster. This makes you avoid eating more than necessary and prevents unconscious eating.

Planning your responses to hunger will help you get rid of excess pounds faster. Usually the lack of willpower to diet occurs due to lack of planning and medical supervision when an unexpected situation catches us off guard. Do not let this happen (at least not all the time).

Those who eat a moderately high protein diet (including animal protein organic or ecologic, such as eggs, poultry, meat and fish) are twice as likely to lose weight and keep it off than those who do not eat a lot of protein. Forget the absurd recommendations of the food pyramid and include a source of protein in each of your meals!

Thin people keep themselves thin by having fun. There is not much to say here, they just take every opportunity during the day to move a little. Particularly if you work in a chair all day, try to get up and walk a little (whether in your office) every 20-30 minutes or depending on the workplace. Use the stairs to go up for at least 2 floors. Do not use the elevator all the time.

About 30% of people watching over 4 hours of TV daily have a body mass index of 30% or higher.

The rule: less TV, more of anything else (sleep, for example).

These 7 laws have been our experience at our clinics specializing in weight control.
